Reconnnect Nano Receiver for Logitech Mouse M187

Many people have complaint that most Logitech mice that comes with a Non-Unifying receiver will have the problem of connecting back to its original dongle after going through pairing with a Unifying Receiver.
The easiest way is to buy a new Unifying dongle - Problem solved!

In Actual Fact - You can still pair it back to the Original Dongle if the dongle is still in good condition.
*Download - Logitech Connection utility
This software is to pair the Non- Unifying devices.

If you read through the forum, many still having problem with the latest version of this software and they will have to download the older version to pair the mouse with the dongle.
Through my experienced it seems like when I download the latest version of this software on my Win8 Sony Vaio, it also having the same problem but when I downloaded the same version on my Acer Aspire Win XP it works. After it paired I just unplug it and use on the Sony Vaio. It runs as normal. That means once its paired , you can use it anywhere.

  2. Use a double sided tape(stronger) stick on the top of the micro switch to hold the white button from falling off.
  3. Use a pen-knife,flip open the cover from both ends
